I:

• went to Plymouth to do diving: we did some rather swelly dives and some rather dark dives and I saw a pagurus prideaux (hermit crab to you) with an adamsia carciniopados (cloak anenome) on it, which was pretty cool, and we got to go to the Eddystone, which is like the ultimate design-a-diver's-fishtank dive. And then we won the pub quiz! Although we only got one of the two answers for the jackpot so we didn't win £125. Never mind. 
• went to an actual gig last night, some proper old-school hardcore called Magrudergrind, all the way from Washington DC, playing a short enough set to even prevent Wayne from getting bored
• am going right to the pig's mouth of Wales, to go diving with the Brighton club on their annual club holiday. There will be caravan accommodation, walking back from pubs down dark cliff paths at night, lots of launching and recovering boats from beaches, at least possibly some seals, and according to the weather forecast, rain. I have packed sandals, waterproofs and everything inbetween. It'll be fun, honest. See you next week!
