S'called Dancefloors. It's five minutes thirty eight and the last two minutes are a sentimental and unnecessary excursion into mediocre musicianship because they can't seem to think of any other way to end the song.
I've got no nostalgia here, I'm aware there's always been music this crap about. This is not me storming out of a previously-loved scene, this is me sticking my head round the door and going 'bloody hell, are people *still* falling for this crap?' But I like to think there's a reason it's not my scene, and that the reason is because it's music for people who don't actually like music. Like Nick Cave, which is music for people that like good lyrics and an interesting voice but would rather the rhythm section was nothing more than the barest sketchy unobtrusive drum machine.
