Gigs and stuff
Dec. 10th, 2004 02:18 amBeen a strange hole in the music here despite now technically being involved with more projects than ever before. I have played with bands a total of twice in the last two and a half weeks. Looks like some things are starting to move again with Yus now maybe being back online for SON; I could really use singing again. Had to resort to distressing anyone within earshot of my workshop of late with abstract chasing after Radio 3.
But! This Saturday, we were going to be meeting in the afternoon for a practice anyway but now there's a gig right after it. The all-girl band, this is, Punch Judy. The top of the bill would seem to be a bunch of Britpoppers from Clacton called Missed Fee, who as far as I can tell will either be a right riot or awful. The other band are called The Line so we know nothing about them. A new proviso to the band name test, is the name made from words too common to be sensibly googled for?
So if you're interested to find out what's going on with this lot we're at the Lark In The Park in Islington/Kings Cross (away down the Caledonian Road) this Saturday, we're on first.
