Crap crap crap crap on a stick. I only found out late last night that Clutch are in the country. I've missed every single accessible night except for the one in Islington on Saturday (within walking distance of my house, forsooth) and the only spare pair of tickets going for it anywhere online are being sold by a wanker who wants seventy five quid for them. It's one thing for the price to get high by people outbidding each other but this is just up-front straight-out wankery. They were in Brighton on Wednesday night, too, when Chris headed down for work; I could have gone with him and driven back in the wee small hours or something. Aaaagh.

Date: 2008-08-29 09:58 pm (UTC)I hate missing bands although I tend to do it through stupidity such as missing Midnight Oil because I was young and had never been to a gig on my own or missing Rufus Wainwright because I got the dates mixed up and thought I'd bought tickets for a much later gig.

I got a lovely t-shirt and cos they're Clutch they only charged a tenner for it too...
