Seriously, there was some leftover steamed savoy cabbage from yesterday, and along with a small onion and some black olives it made an amazingly vegetabular omelette, and I had sweet potato chips with it and it was ace.

Also today I have finally finished my undersuit. And this is what it looks like:
Undersuit Front

Some of the stitching is a bit dodgy if someone was looking for that sort of thing, but I think it's quite solidly made. It fits properly while having room enough to do the sort of contortions that can be necessary while diving. I'm quite proud of it.

Also I tried my bike out this afternoon and while the gears seem very inclined to jam when cranking them round indoors, they seem to work fine in the real world, although something's still maladjusted and therefore rattling. Compared to where I thought that project was, that's pretty good.

Right. Time to shave the sides of my head.

Diving? Are you off to to dive somewhere chilly?

UK sounds chilly! I found Cyprus in March cold enough let alone Wales in March. Brrrr. Is it a dive site of specific interest? My dive buddy wants to do some UK dives this year, but I know little about it myself.

Gotta linky? I should investigate - or maybe I'll wait for you to report back and go in summer when it's warmer!

Didn't realised you dive. After doing my open water training dives in a quarry in Lancaster one December with frost on the ground and a drysuit that leaked at the neck when doing mask clearance, I've stuck to the tropics. However, now that I'm in the UK and probably not going diving anywhere exotic I really should think about saving up for a drysuit and giving it a go. There's a whole bunch of wrecks I'd like to explore and I was going to do my nitrox and trimix courses a few years back, but left the far east sooner than originally planned and didn't get round to that.

Hmmmm, perhaps by the summer I might be able to do that. Just need a drysuit and buy a couple of uk certified tanks and a new manifold.
