Snow Post

Not only have I got snow, I also had a functional tube line with which to get to work (the Piccadilly) and a nice quiet office with hardly anyone else in it to work in, with a window to watch the continuing snow from.

The gates were still shut on the BL as I went past today; I suspect they might not be bothering to open. But the unnecessarily chunky statue of Newton outside seems to make more sense looking weighed down with snow.

A lot of Paolozzi's sculptures seem to use himself as a model, and he wasn't a young slim thing by the time he made this.

There's a smaller version outside the Dean Gallery here, with "Master of the universe" inscribed on in. I guess he didn't entirely agree with Blake.
