Snow again

Plan for this morning:

• Tom gets up early in the morning and goes to Gatwick, to get a plane to Antigua to meet a boat to go sailing around the world again
• Chris gets up and goes to work in Lancing
• I get up, clean the flat of all the random stuff Tom's left lying around in preparation for B and or Q delivering my kitchen today

What actually happened this morning:

• Tom gets up early in the morning, leaves the house, gets to the station and realises he hasn't got his travelling hat, texts Chris to look for it on his way to the station
• Chris gets up, opens the curtains and finds it's snowing again, finds Tom's travelling hat in the hall and then sees Tom's text
• Chris bewaterproofs himself and sets out for the station to go to work, and then returns to work from home because nothing's really going anywhere
• I get up and start removing the random, clearing the stairs and stuff like that (I have found a copy of Never Mind The Bollocks which I had no idea was in the house, I certainly never bought it)
• B and or Q ring to tell me they're not delivering today
• Tom's flight is cancelled

And now Tom's trying to get a train home again, and I'm going to Sainsbury's in the snow because we've been doing remarkably well at making food out of whatever we've got in stock for an entire week now (I made some potato bread rolls that had the texture of crumpets, they were ace) but we've finally run out of enough things to have to shop.
