Right, so I'm going to be in London tomorrow. The first thing I'm going to do it take my two entire printouts to the binding shop to be bound, which will be at about 10am or so, and then elsewhere in the day I need to call into the office at Senate House and check what I'll need to hand in with the theses, and then probably go to my group office and talk to people, and then at the end of the day I need to pick up theses and hand them properly in, and then I might go for a post-work drink with some of m'esteemed colleagues.

So the question is, given that I'll have quite a lot of the day free for hanging around in London, what should I do? I'd like to spend no money while doing it, apart from transport. And I really didn't do as many of the tourist things as I should have done while living there. What's worth getting in tomorrow?

Go to the Wellcome Collection? They have an exhibition on right now that I really want to see.

Tate mod is near the binders, which is mostly free. Terry's, El Vergel and the Lord Clyde are even closer, but are based around selling you edibles/drinkables. I've never been in the Welsh Chapel next door, vaguely curious. The old Fire Station almost next door might have a museum bit. And there are new bird boxes (presumably empty since we're post nesting season) in the park opposite and various other little spaces nearby. The Union St Orchard is still on and very close, and might smell less of shredded tires now. http://www.unionstreetorchard.org.uk/
