Son of Nothing, tonight, 12 Bar, we're on a bit after 9, and the headliners are Girls On Top so should be worth it.
And we really need to record another demo and for some reason the others are happy to do it in the same place. There are some obvious problems with the last one, and some of these are ours and to do with singing confidence and playing to click tracks, and some of them are definitely to do with the studios and facilities availalable. We don't have the right guitar amps ourselves and the amp simulator wossname we used last time was awful. And there's a difference between getting things right as in, getting through a take without getting anything obviously wrong, and getting it right as in getting a throat-grabbing, unignorable sound. Last time we hobbled through recording dealing with mundane details like getting the lyrics right, and I'd like to hear what we sound like when we've got past all that trivia.
