Oct. 13th, 2004 10:46 pmName a CD you own that no-one else on your friends list does.
Hrm. Box Set, by Wool, a hideously underrated Seattle band containing Pete Stahl who has carried on to be the best singer in stoner, to pop up guesting on all sorts of stuff and now, I believe, make his money as a tour manager. Oh well.
Either that or At Last! Another Amazing Adventure To Open Your Mind... by Bristol stoners The Heads, of which I've got number 67 of 100.
Lots of demos by bands I've seen, played with or tried out for, if that isn't cheating.
Name a book you own that no-one else on your friends list does.
Dressmaking By Design by Charmian Watkins, or perhaps an obscure Physics textbook rescued from the skip at Lewes Tertiary. It's going to be something mundane; the best bit about good books is reading them and knowing that other people out there have read this, that there's a unidentifiable chunk of population whose head has been here and you never know when you're going to be talking to one of them.
Name a movie you own on DVD/VHS/whatever that no-one else on your friends list does.
I own only one movie, on any format, and it's a DVD of Eraserhead I got given. I've not watched it yet. I do enjoy watching films but feel no urge to own them.
Name a place that you have visited that no-one else on your friends list has.
Norton Junction. A large canal junction in the midlands that's right next to the West Coast mainline. Lots of you will have seen it, passed it at high speed, but I'm probably the only one that's manhandled an eighteen foot canoe round it.
