The gig was closer than I thought. It is, in fact, tomorrow, Tuesday the 19th, at the Caernarvon Castle in Camden. We've got ourselves a new bass player, who has learnt the songs impressively fast, and we might well get away with it.

Oh, and, the promoter wants us to headline. With a frontwoman who's never been on a stage in her life before, with a bass player we've had a week, with a whole get-up that's not existed before this summer.
The thing is, though the cold touch of uncertainty lurketh, or some such, we're all up for it. We have to start somewhere. Why not here?

It's more pop-like indie-like (somewhat QuOTSA) than anything else I get up to so not as hard work physically, though I have to remember to be more musical. Either way it'll be a laugh.
