aaaaaaaaaaaaagh
Jun. 7th, 2003 01:42 amTuesday 10th of June.
Fu Manchu, arse-kicking, skateboarding, surf-riding, city-stomping, planet-fuzzing good-time stoner rock band. Even if their newest album is so ropey I suspect the drums on half the tracks of being programmed because Brant Bjork already had other things on his mind and probably couldn't be arsed, because they've got a new drummer and called Scott Reeder whilst not being anything to do with Scott Reeder the bassist out of Kyuss and everything. They're playing in London that night.
Senor Coconut, the touring version, the real live Chilean band that Uwe Schmidt has put together whilist living out there to escape the turgid Euro dance scene, the ones promoting a new album of unlikely cover versions in immaculate South American style. They're playing Brighton, the Concorde 2 no less, that night.
And if you can't guess by the time stamp, I'm drunk enough for this to be really important right now, rather than the packing for the train I've got to catch in, er, six and a half hours.
