Yeah, so it's happening again, the whole "I want to do that / I *want* that" confusion. Yeah, it's Josh Homme again. People have told me that the Eagles of Death Metal albums are in some circles considered one-trick ponies. That's probably true but it's a trick I like or something.

So I'm still a better drummer but now I'm trying to learn guitar, innI, so it's time to channel the big ginger farm boy. Feh. You wouldn't think I'd spent the evening having a terribly inte-fucking-lectual conversation with the singer of the Bad Fucks about class and motivation and stuff. Mind you, we also saw a couple of bands and they were bad enough to make me want to prove how I can do any part of that so much better so it's probably no wonder, is it.

And the bands I *didn't* see were Earth and Sunn0))), as I looked to see if I could still get tickets for tomorrow earlier and found out that it wasn't tomorrow, it was today and there I was missing it. Dag-cunting-nabbit.

Oh and, oddly, ran into Deacon who mentioned possibly needing a bassist for another band. Well.

Hullo there. I thought I'd come take a looksee at your journal after you friended me earlier. I'm intrigued! You've mentioned SunO))), Husker Du, L7 and other stuff I like. And the only Gomez song I like (though to be honest, not enough to try and hear more) was Whipping Piccadilly. Although I did hear them most unexpectedly the other night whilst watching House. That was odd. So, er, well done you!
