Buzzcocks. One of the line-ups was Lee Dorrian, being introduced as the singer of Napalm Death with a bit of video from the 80s. When they, funnily enough, had correctly identified the bloke who's just been doing a headlining tour of the UK including the Concorde on a Saturday night, he was announced off as 'now playing with his new doom band Cathedral'. Who've been going since, er, 1991?

Mainstream TV never does its research. Do you remember Last Chance Lottery, which ran for a while round about 1995 or so? There was a round where a celebrity singer was invited to perform a song selected of a spinning wheel.

And tonight, singing Tom Jones' Delilah...

"Bruce Dickinson, the singer of Def Leppard!"

YOU WHAT?

I heart Simon Amstell so much.

Lee looked properly sheepish, too. I don't know how they convinced him to do it.

Did you see the gig at the Concorde, then? I missed the whole tour by being in Wales recording the new Litmus album. Electric Wizard and Grand Magus supporting, too. Damn.

Don't judge by appearances. He's sharp enough to know a good spacerock band when he sees one.

I was ready to believe him with the zombie bit though.
