Buzzcocks. One of the line-ups was Lee Dorrian, being introduced as the singer of Napalm Death with a bit of video from the 80s. When they, funnily enough, had correctly identified the bloke who's just been doing a headlining tour of the UK including the Concorde on a Saturday night, he was announced off as 'now playing with his new doom band Cathedral'. Who've been going since, er, 1991?

Date: 2006-03-22 07:50 pm (UTC)Did you see the gig at the Concorde, then? I missed the whole tour by being in Wales recording the new Litmus album. Electric Wizard and Grand Magus supporting, too. Damn.
I think he looks like that all the time these days
Date: 2006-03-22 09:45 pm (UTC)I did see them, aye. Grand Magus don't interest me much though they do what they do well enough. Electric Wizard were, well, really good. Jus Oborn seems to have grown up a bit, it was less of the massive doses of radiated bile of old and more like an actual band giving it loads.
Hope the recording went well. Holed up in a nice warm recording studio would have been a good place to spend the last month.
