Punch Judy gig, tonight
Nov. 19th, 2006 03:51 pmManaged to get one gig booked, anyway, and managed to get it in before the end of the eight drumless days, ho yus.
We're on tonight at the Departure Bar in Aldgate, (see http://www.departurebar.co.uk/location.html for traditionally shonky map) with a total of four other bands. Not sure exactly what time we're on but it's four quid in, which all in all sounds better than sitting around waiting for Monday morning to arrive if you ask me.
Yesterday, I nipped along to the Pembury Tavern in the afternoon to catch a bit of this beer festival and meet a couple of people and then see what else might be done with the evening. I got home about 1am. How did that happen, then?

Date: 2006-11-19 07:15 pm (UTC)huge PDF bus maps are here: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/buses/buses_map.asp
(they also have the tube lines drawn on them in a more spatially-correct way which is nice)

Date: 2006-11-20 04:42 pm (UTC)Departure Bar wasn't up to much as a place, no, though the gig was at least a laugh. I left the head of my bass amp there, though, so I'll have to go back sometime this week to collect it...
