Oh, and, nearly something like advance warning; a Punch Judy gig! North of the river, someplace nice and central, right? How about the 12 Bar in Denmark Street? How about tomorrow night, Saturday the 30th?

Been there before? If not, you'll be very amused by the dimensions of the main stage. There's a kind of mezzanine viewing level that cuts off most people from the head up. You'll just look like legs. Tee hee.

The first time I played there I was on bass, and was able to gaffer-tape my setlist to the mezzanine thing, at about eye-level, handily. Last time and this time, though, I get to sit down, and the front end is two short-ish girls, so the audience can nearly see most of us.
