Punch Judy gig, Angel, Saturday night

Right, you 'orrible lot, (well, you nice lot, but you know what I mean) Punch Judy have got a gig on Saturday night, and it's north of the river, and not in Slough or Essex, and generally the only leg you've got to stand on is the short notice, right?

We're playing at the Wilmington in Angel, we are headlining and on at about 10.40, and there are three bands in total. The night is called Up All Night if you're googling. There are flyers that get you in for a fiver, of which I will have some. I'm going to get to play my own drumkit, which is usually quite pleasing despite its occasional deficiencies - I really do need to get a stool, and a better second cymbal stand, but the heads are smashing meaty Pinstripes. Not that you care, but. This will be an under-rehearsed gig, which usually translates into being a pretty good one, for us. Go on go on go on you will you will you will.

(Also, I have here one lottery ticket, and in about *squints at watch* three and a bit hours, I will have that nice Mr. Wilson to hand too. We're going to go watch lots of very fit people go very fast under their own power, otherwise known as the start of the Tour De France. Nice.)

Hey! I could finally return your cymbals case tomorrow! Would you like to have it back - I presume if you're bringing your kit it's easily transportable...

Oo. Well. If you could, I wouldn't mind. It's far better travelled than my actual cymbals, but maybe it'll act as some sort of charm to get us some distant gigs too.

I couldn't find the Wilmington on the internet - do you have details for where it is?

What time are you going to be there? I may have to drop the case off early in the evening..

It'll be a big help for my upcoming move to give it back to you!

It's at 69 Roseberry Avenue, EC1R 4RL. I don't yet know what time I'll be there but I can't think it'll be later than 7, since I'm going to have to get the kit there earlyish.

Hi - I got there a bit before you and wasn't feeling too well so I couldn't stick around. Let me know that you got the case OK - I left it with Chris from your support band much ado about nothing. Thanks soooo much for the loan, sorry I didn't get to thank you in person! Hope your gig is rockin'
